Some approved actions need one more change to your company's ledger rules before they can be recorded. A-REX prepares that change by itself, the owner gives the approval, and the original action then continues on its own. Nobody needs to send it again.

These changes go through your administration account, so only the owner can approve them, with the owner passkey. See Your keys.

Waiting for allowlisting

Where you see it: a delivery shows Waiting for the owner; its steps say Waits until the receiver is allowed.

What it means: your ledger only delivers to accounts on its list of allowed receivers. This receiver is not on the list yet, usually because it is the first delivery to them.

What happens next: A-REX prepares "Allow ‹receiver› to receive lots". The owner gives the approval in Approvals. The delivery is then recorded. This happens once per receiving account. See Deliver a lot.

Waiting for permission to process

Where you see it: a processing step shows Waiting for the owner; its steps say Waits until the company may record processing.

What it means: the lots are held in an account your company keeps for a partner, such as a mill or a dryer. That account records the processing itself, and drying, roasting, milling and other processes need a one-time permission first. Splitting and merging never wait for it.

What happens next: A-REX prepares "Allow ‹partner› to record processing of its own lots". The owner gives the approval, and the processing is recorded. See Split, merge and process.

Waiting for issuer approval

Where you see it: a certificate shows Waiting for issuer approval; its steps say Waits until the issuer is trusted.

What it means: your company has not yet said that it trusts this lab or certifier for this type of certificate. Attach certificate warns about it before you send: "‹issuer› is not yet approved to issue ‹certificate›".

What happens next: A-REX prepares "Trust ‹issuer› as an issuer of ‹certificate›". The owner gives the approval, and the certificate is recorded. To avoid the wait, list the Certificate types it issues when you add the party: the owner can approve them up front. See Certificates.

The owner is away

Only the owner can approve these changes. If it waits long, ask the owner to open Approvals. An earlier change to the administration account may have to be approved or rejected first: the console says so.
