Find your way around the console

The header with the company picker, the side menu and its sections, your profile panel with language and theme, and the banners that appear above a page.

Every page of a company has the same frame: a header at the top, a side menu on the left and the page in the middle. The setup is the only exception: it runs on full screen, without the menu.

The company picker

At the left of the header, next to the product name, you see your organization and your company. Select the company name to open the picker: your organizations, each with its Production companies and its Sandboxes, the current one checked. Type in the search box when the list is long. Choose a company to open it, or select New company or New sandbox to add one. The picker closes when you choose, click outside it or press Escape. Select the organization name to open the organization's own pages.

The side menu groups the pages of a company in sections: Home; Operate, with harvests and lots, processing, deliveries, certificates, traceability and the directory; Approvals and activity; Insights, with dashboards and reports; Automate and connect, with automations and integrations; then Settings. The page you are on is shown in bold. You see only the pages your role may open. See Roles.

The right side of the header

Four buttons open a panel beside the page: the assistant, help, notifications and your profile. See The assistant, Help center and Notifications.

Your profile panel

Your profile panel shows your name, your role and whether two-factor is on. From it you can:

open Security settings, your own sign-in methods;
open Organization settings, the settings of the company;
choose your Language, which only changes the console for you;
switch the Theme between Light and Dark;
create a New organization;
Sign out.

Banners above the page

Sandbox — practice data.: you are in a sandbox; nothing in it is real. See Practise in a sandbox.
Security update required for your records software.: A-REX operations prepared an update of the software that records your lots, or a security notice affects it. Select Review update to open the approval or notification. The banner stays until the update is completed.
